LABORATORY, SAFETY, BIOTECHNOLOGY
HBC International provides clients with the expertise and responsiveness to handle environmental, production process, and water treatment requirements to meet their business needs.

All projects of HBC International are conducted with emphasis on safety. HBC International employees are MSHA and OSHA trained, and actively participate in site specific safety training and programs.

LABORATORY
  • Rapid response analysis of water and solid samples to support fast-paced process development.
  • Analysis of groundwater and acidic mine-related waters for metals and common anions.
  • Investigation into methods for the analysis of humic and fulvic acids in process water streams.
  • Evaluation of groundwater sources for radionucleides, herbicides, SVOCs, VOCs, and microbiological parameters.
  • Interfacing with outside laboratories providing XPS, SEM/XRD, X-ray diffraction, TOF-SIMS, and other unusual analytical techniques in the process of investigations.

BIOTECHNOLOGY
  • Evaluation and optimization of production plant performance, establishment of computerized systems to support process development, optimization of sampling and analytical procedures, and establishment of statistical process and quality control systems.
  • Management of biotechnology operation in start-up phase, direction of process optimization resulting in 40% yield increase at tripled throughput, monitoring of compliance with regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices.
